Learning with Object-centric Representations of Tactile Interactive Perception for Robot Manipulation
Conference on Robot Learning (CoRL), 2026
M.S. in Robotics, Carnegie Mellon University
I am a second-year Master's student in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Prof. Oliver Kroemer. I have also worked closely with Prof. Zeynep Temel on tactile manipulation.
My research focuses on tactile perception and robot learning for dexterous manipulation. I am interested in how robots can infer object properties and contact states through physical interaction, and use this information to guide manipulation under uncertainty. My goal is to develop policies that actively gather information when needed and adapt their actions in real time using visual, tactile, and proprioceptive feedback.
Before CMU, I received my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Zhejiang University. During my undergraduate years, I had the fortune to work with Prof. Yunzhu Li at UIUC, and with Prof. Hua Chen and Prof. Liangjing Yang at Zhejiang University.
